Fall Fun Day!

Thank you to all of our parent volunteers for helping to make learning fun!  The children had a blast!  The children created a scarecrow out of shapes, the measured and weighed various sizes of pumpkins.  The discussed how the pumpkin weighed more or less then they did.  They practiced reading measuring tapes and writing the number that they measured.  They did a sink and float station with fall fruits and veggies.  Did you know a pumpkin floats? Ask your child all about it. The children stuck their hands inside of a pumpkin (well some did!)  They used their five senses to describe the pumpkin.
