WEEKLY UPDATE 3/1

Please visit your child's Seesaw to see our weekly update. Join us Tuesday, March 14 SCHOOL WIDE LITERACY NIGHT! We will have games, crafts, the scholastic book fair and more! Dressing up as your favorite SUPERHERO is optional, but recommended! If you are interested in purchasing dinner, see the PTA. We still need YOUR HELP! This week we started using FOUR SQUARE writing to organize our thoughts!
After reading Round Is A Mooncake the children were asked to draw and label things in our world that are square.   Once we organize our work we will turn our labels into sentences.

In math our focus has been shapes!

3D shapes and 2D shapes.

The children were assigned a shape. They had to collaborate on creating a poster about their shape where they shared all the attributes of the shape on their poster and in their presentations.

Fun On The Farm!

Today our kindergarten friends enjoyed their special learning time on the farm. :)
We learned about growing crops like corn and pumpkins. All about carnivores and herbivores.  
We learned that farming is hard, yet rewarding work.
