A Day Filled With Learning Through Movement and Song
We had an exciting day in kindergarten the children enjoyed experiementing to find out what creates a shadow using flashlights and various objects.
Then, we enjoyed yoga and exercise during P.E. The children practiced counting.
Next, they enjoyed free choice writing time with quiet "thinking" music being played in the classroom.
Finally, Mrs. Gordon our wonderful music teacher had the children use scarves and create movements.
It was a day filled with energy, thinking, and learning.

P.E.
Physical Education and Recess
Please send your child to school with appropriate cold weather clothing on as we go out for recess even on the chilly days. We need "brain breaks" even in the winter.
Please wear gym shoes each day.
Please do not wear flip flops or shoes that you are unable to run or climb safely in.

Mr. Kamholtz has been reinforcing many of our math skills during the P.E. lessons. Students are working on counting and sorting.
