Tuesday's Learning

On this bright and sunny Tuesday we took advantage of learning outside in the sunshine.  We took our books, journals, and pencil boxes and learned outside.

Today my friends in Rainbow Valley enjoyed learning more about making Text To Text connections using the stories No,David! and It's Christmas David!

 We also continued to work on creating number families.  For example,

we tried to find out how manys ways we could make 7, 8 , and 5.

We read a great book called Math-terpieces and practiced creating number families.  For example, 7+1=8, 5+1+2=8,4+4=8, 8+0=8.Please make sure this is a skill that you are reviewing with your child at home as often as possible.
