Homework

I am sorry for not sending this last week.  We decided to hold off on sending math homework this week with the short week. The children only needed to complete the writing for this week.
Tomorrow I will be sending home four pages of math that is due June 12th.

Water Lab Fun!

Thank you Mrs. M. for preparing all of the materials and for planning our science lab. You are awesome!
Thank you to all of our parents who ran our stations and who supported our fun time of learning!
The children enjoyed hands-on lessons that went hand in hand with our matter unit of study.

Retelling and Money

The children are learning how to include character names, setting, and events in detail when they are retelling.
For example, there was a caterpillar. His name was Charlie and he was just born outside.  He was eating green leaves.
When your child is reading with you at home check in and ask them to retell.

In math we did a differentiated lesson with Mrs. Whitney!
The children had to use coins and show how many ways to make one dollar. 
It was amazing to see the various combinations.

With the hot weather on us, please send in a water bottle with your child, so her or she can stay hydrated throughout the day. You may also send in sunglasses for your child to wear when we go outdoors.
