Move Over Eric Carle! Here comes Rainbow Valley!
All I can say is WOW! My kindergarten friends always amaze me with their ability to write.
Today, the children wrote their own fiction book based on a creature that they created yesterday. The children are so proud of themselves, as they should be. I feel blessed to have taught such an amazing group of smart, talented, and caring students!
Amazing!!!!

The Fabulous Learning Continues
This week we are doing an authors study on Eric Carle.
The children are reading books written and illustrated by him in both the classroom and the library. Yesterday we learned painting techniques that Eric Carle uses. Today the children chose a character from one of his books and created their own version. They turned out beautifully! They will write a story about them tomorrow.
Please note: Friday is a half day of school. We hope to see all of our Kindergarten Friends here.
