Retelling and Money

The children are learning how to include character names, setting, and events in detail when they are retelling.
For example, there was a caterpillar. His name was Charlie and he was just born outside.  He was eating green leaves.
When your child is reading with you at home check in and ask them to retell.

In math we did a differentiated lesson with Mrs. Whitney!
The children had to use coins and show how many ways to make one dollar. 
It was amazing to see the various combinations.
